Regina Hill Onyeibe, Africa Liaison and Small Business Center Senior Coordinator (dual roles) for the City of Dallas. Before coming to work for the city, Regina was Senior Business Planning Manager for Hewlett Packard, a Fortune 100 company. In her current role, Ms. Onyeibe has inimitable opportunities to interface with decision makers of many nations, as well as top business executives across Africa, giving her access and sound relationships that most could only dream of. The strengthening and development of relationships between the City of Dallas and the ever growing, diverse African  Diaspora in which  she  serves, is also of paramount importance. She now oversees the City of Dallas’ South Dallas Fair Park Opportunity Fund, this program administers grants and loans for the City of Dallas in the Fair Park area for non-profits and for-profit businesses. In this role, she is the liaison for the SDFPOF Advisory Board and helps small businesses, non-profits and entrepreneurs navigate the sometimes murky waters when trying to start or scale their business. This is done by connecting entrepreneurs with community partners who assist the City of Dallas with arming small businesses and entrepreneurs with the tools, contacts, and knowledge necessary to get the doors of their new business open.

Her 7-week food series has been an overwhelming success story. This one night a week Food Series teaches aspiring chefs, caterers and would be restaurant owners, everything they need to know about the food business – outside of the food. Three 7-week series have now been completed with another to start soon. This program gets rave reviews from all who attend, as real-life subject matter experts are brought in weekly to teach and take questions from the participants; this has proved invaluable to all who dare to come and invest their time and energy into their business.  Ms. Onyeibe enjoys travel, all genres of music, trying new international cuisine and healthy, stimulating conversation with friends and perfect strangers alike.
