Chukuka is an investment banker, author and entrepreneur. He is a Partner at Racecourse Capital, a private investment and advisory firm with a focus on raising financing for businesses mainly in West Africa. Chukuka has a career spanning about twenty-five years at world class financial institutions like Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Salomon Smith Barney, Citibank Nigeria, Afrinvest West Africa, and Stanbic IBTC Bank. He has executed over ten billion dollars worth of transactions in corporate and project financings across multiple sectors and three continents. He specializes in structuring and raising large, complex, multi-source and multicurrency financings from cradle (i.e. origination) to grave (i.e. financial close and drawdown).

Chukuka is committed to raising the economic potential of Africa through mentorship and investments in human capital, technology and infrastructure. He sits on the boards of several human capital development and infrastructure companies like: Sponsors for Educational Opportunity Africa (SEO Africa) as a Non-Executive Board Member (Ghana) and Chairman Board of Trustees (Nigeria); Chairman, Evaluation & Staffing Africa (ES Africa); Chairman, Hofstede Insights Nigeria (Hofstede) and Board Member DBH Solutions (DBH).

In his spare time, Chukuka feeds his creative interests in film, writing and sports. He leads the Finance & Funding Subcommittee of Nigeria’s Presidential Advisory Committee tasked with passing into law The Creative Industry Development Bill. He was a Co-Executive Producer on the award-winning movie ‘God Calling’ which he marketed internationally, securing both Amazon and Netflix distribution deals. As a writer he Co-Authored ‘In Pursuit – Journeys in African Entrepreneurship’. This book has now been used as reference material for trainings done at Waterloo University Business School and the Canadian Black Chamber of Commerce (CBCC), just to name a few. Football, or soccer as it is called in North America, is the entrepreneurial venture that is next on his radar. Chukuka lives in Dallas and is married with three kids.
